This was by far my toughest and slowest marathon for me, but happy to get 1st place in my division and top 10 overall females🥇😃! Really didn’t see this coming and even left before awards given. I was so out of it, but I’ll take it🙌! Just hope they mail it to me 😂! This wasn’t a huge marathon and one people do for the challenge and beautiful views. And challenge…IT WAS! I’m really loving my new Garmin watch! It gives me so much information. It even told me to rest today💕. #estesparkmarathon #runningjunky #Fathersday2023

July 9th:
Excited to see they sent me my marathon award for placing 🥇 in my division. Totally didn’t expect to place at all. This is my slowest marathon and I didn’t train in high altitude at all. It just goes to show you should always do your best and never give up. Even when your mind plays tricks on you to tell you differently. Good thing I can use their online website to use my gift certificate, cause I don’t plan on going to the mountains 🏔️ again anytime soon 😂!
